At RUBIDOR, we specialize in making rubber products in addition to custom plastic injection molding. Due to our large stock of rubber products, we can help various industries and sectors with a wide variety of applications. The environment must always be taken into account in order to determine the right rubber quality and what requirements the rubber should meet. Below is a sample of our product range:

SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber)

First of all, we start with the much sought-after rubber grade SBR. This application is often used in industry because of its good elastic and mechanical properties. The temperature range of SBR is between -20°C and +70°C. Other important properties of this rubber:

  • Good wear resistance
  • Long service life
  • Moderate weathering resistance
  • Not suitable in use with concentrated acids

EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Rubber)

EPDM is a synthetic rubber very well known for its high resistance to ozone, heat, aging and many chemicals. This rubber has very good weather resistance and is ideally suited for outdoor use. The temperature range of EPDM is between -25°C to +100°C. Other important properties associated with this rubber grade:

  • Resistant to hydraulic fluids, ozone, glycol and UV radiation.
  • Water and steam pose no problems for EPDM
  • Not suitable in combination with oils, greases, fuels and lubricants

CR/Neoprene (Chloroprene Rubber)

The CR/Neoprene rubber has better chemical resistance than the SBR rubber. This rubber grade has better weather, heat and ozone resistance in addition to good elastic and mechanical properties. The temperature range of this rubber is between -20 and +80°C. Other properties associated with CR/Neoprene:

  • Reasonably resistant to fire and oil
  • Good resistance to water, ozone and propane (gas)
  • Loses flexibility at low temperatures
  • Not suitable in combination with gasoline, diesel and kerosene

NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber)

RUBIDOR also has the quality NBR, better known as Nitrile. This synthetic rubber has good resistance to water, greases and oils. Its temperature range is between -30°C and +90°C. Finally, NBR rubber has moderate resistance to weather, ozone and UV.

NR (Nature Rubber)

Natural rubber or Para rubber is a soft and highly elastic rubber and is known for its mechanical properties such as softness, abrasion resistance, elasticity and resilience. This rubber is most applicable in environments where the material is exposed to friction. The temperature range of Para rubber is between -25°C and +80°C and can easily withstand cold and adverse weather conditions. Finally, this natural rubber is not a problem in combination with alkalis, acids and salts.

FPM/Viton (Fluorocarbon Rubber)

FPM or Viton also called fluorocarbon rubber, this rubber has good resistance to many chemicals and the most concentrated alkalis and acids. This rubber can be applied to high temperatures up to 200 degrees Celsius. At low temperatures, this rubber is less suitable. The temperature range of Viton is between -14°C to +250°C.

Hypalon/ CSM (Chlorosulfonated Polyethylene Rubber)

The Hypalon rubber is ideally suited for applications where weather, ozone, acids and water occur. In addition, this rubber has good flame-extinguishing and flame-resistant properties. The temperature range of Hypalon is between -20°C and +120°C.

Silicone rubber (MPQ)

Finally, we also have in our range the Silicone rubber, which has excellent resistance to extremely high temperatures. This rubber can be applied to high temperatures up to 200 degrees Celsius. The temperature range of the silicone rubber is between -60°C and +220°C. Other important properties associated with this rubber:

  • Good resistance to sunlight, oxygen, ozone and wide range of gases.
  • Electrical insulating property
  • Water repellent
  • Less resistant in terms of tensile and shear strength, wear
